Club1813 Napoleonic Rules released

New any scale Napoleonic wargame rules on the Alternative Armies website. We are delighted to release Club1813 which is two sets of rules in one book written by Gary Mitchell and the late Pete Lowe. Brigade and Skirmish level tabletop play. The book is online in print and as a digital paid download. We have the mighty 15mm Brickdust Napoleonic Range supporting as well as two Starter Armies with free Bases (French and British) and a Mega Bundle which contains both armies and the book for free (just as with Furioso). We also have five new resin base codes to support Club1813.

Brigade Level Wargaming

Club1813 gives simple, elegant, and fast-play Napoleonic mass battles rules where the basic unit is the brigade; and the entire Stand of troops is the thing. Divisional and larger battles can be happily fought in an evening. No re-basing of existing miniatures is required and any scale can be used on table. Above all the rules are fast and furious bringing the fun back in Napoleonic wargaming that many other sets omit.

Lights & Legers

Elegant Napoleonic skirmish rules from the keyboard of veteran wargamer Pete Lowe. In Lights and Legers each force consists of a few sharply defined squads and games can be stand alone or viewed as part of a larger Club1813 engagement. The emphasis is on character, storytelling and swashbuckling daring-do. They will appeal as much to the role-player as to the conventional wargamer. Great fun for an afternoon.
