Shipping recommences to the USA duties paid!

On the 29th of August 2025 the current de minimis exemption (800.00USD) agreement between the United Kingdom and the United States of America on goods shipped changed. Let us begin by stating that Alternative Armies will continue to ship orders both large and small and trade as we always have to our customers in the United States.

The new CBP (Customs and Border Protection) service and system and their DDPD have been implemented. This  automatically collects duties from us at point of sale. To that end all American orders are shipping as normal from Monday 8th September.

All of our metals and resins along with books and other products are all made in the UK and we have been putting the HTS (Harmonised Tariff Schedule) codes on packages for many years.

Alternative Armies has revised its USA shipping rates with a small increase in pricing for standard airmail, tracked airmail and door to door courier. As a result of this we, as per the new rules, are paying ALL duties and fees at this end at the point of an order being placed. This means no American customer will have to pay anything upon receipt of their Alternative Armies package. You continue to pay at check out, earn your loyalty points and that is it as an American customer.
