All Miniature Prices increasing from 3rd March 2026
Following up on statements across this month concerning imminent prices rises on our website it is now time for Alternative Armies to give you the details of what will be happening and when.
It is always with regret that we raise our prices and we have not done so since June 2021. In the time since there has been a great deal of upward pressure on raw material costs for Tin and Resin (more than 100%), upon energy prices (more than 100%), upon tax rates and staffing. We have been absorbing all of this but we can no longer do so. If you wish to place an order at the current pricing you have until the end of the promo period on the 3rd March and we thank you.
From the evening of the 3rd of March 2026 (when the current Free Fortress Goblin in any 28mm Fantasy order offer ends) until Sunday 8th March 2026 we shall be increasing prices range by range on our website by roughly 20%. Some codes a little less and some codes a bit more depending on weight and complexity. This means a miniature currently priced at 2.75GBP will become 3.25GBP and a miniature at 0.60GBP will become 0.70GBP. The largest percentage increases will be upon ranges which avoided increases in 2021 such as Laserburn 15mm the 15mm Ion Age and 28mm Erin Celtic Myth.
We will not be increasing our Shipping Rates nor the prices of our Printed Books and Digital Books at this time.
Alternative Armies will continue to have Deals and Offers and the level of discounts will remain from 10% up to 50%. We will also continue with our Loyalty and Rewards system as it is and with Mega Events and new freebies too. We value every hard earned penny you spend with us and wish to treat you when we can.
Fantasy February! Until Tuesday 3rd March 2026 we will automatically (you need do nothing but place as many orders as you wish which qualify) put one RANDOM of thirty poses of Fortress Goblins from our Orc and Goblin Hordes Range in your package. Your free 28mm metal miniature will be selected from OH37 to OH42. To get the free Goblin you only need to have one (or more) code of 28mm Fantasy in your order. This can be from our own ranges (OH, CA, FL, DH, CE, VNT, Monsters as well as Fantasy Warlord) all on the main menu, dropped and select 28mm Fantasy. It can also be any Asgard Fantasy Miniature (main menu Asgard drop menu).
Basically if anything you buy can be put to that genre the freebie will be put in. Above the brand new War Crab Riders among the Fortress Goblins.
We like to keep our customers informed as best we can. More details on 9th March but in essence on the run up to the legendary Spring Mega Event at the end of the month we will be closing for a week to ten days to give the entire team a paid rest and to allow regular maintenance as well as major electrical work to happen on site too. So all shall be rather quiet for a couple of weeks running up to the end of March.
