Rosengarten Paints Black on Kev’s Creatures
It is our great pleasure to share with you a super picture taken by Rosengarten Paints Black over on Instagram of his take on a couple of classic 90’s poses by Alternative Armies. At the dawn of the 1990’s the ‘Goblin Master’ himself Kev Adams sculpted two 28mm codes for us under the name ‘Kev’s Creatures’. These were KC1 Coblynau (Lesser Goblins) and KC2 Black Orcs (Mountain Orcs). We remastered these classics a couple of years ago to keep them in the world and in proper metal. Part of our Orc and Goblin Horde.
On a large scenic base atop a rock waving the banner and looking proper scared a Coblynau next to a bellowing Black Orc swinging a giant two handed War Mace. That mushroom looks lethal as well! Lovely stuff.
KC1 Coblynau Lesser Goblins: Elven poses of smaller metal miniatures. Goblinoids armed with swords and spears. You can have the pack of eleven or choose five with spears or six with swords on the page. Great for any game system and they work well as Orcs in 15mm scale.
KC2 Mountain Orcs: Three poses of large (30mm tall) metal miniatures. Mighty Orcs armed with brutal weapons. You can have the pack or choose singles. Use in any game system and each will work in 15mm as a Giant too.
Our website contain many ranges which are considered ‘Oldhammer’ and from the 1980’s such as Laserburn, Asgard Fantasy, Space Marines and the like. We also have what is now hailed as ‘Middlehammer’ in our hundreds of Undead, Orcs, Dwarves, Humans and more. Not to mention the original part of the 28mm The Ion Age range. Kev’s Creatures come under this heading and although it is a lot of work to keep the vast inventory we have in production it is hobbyists such as Rosengarten Paints Black that give impetus to us to keep to the coal face.
