Tony Birt paints the Space Squires!

It was a real treat to see our first and fourth Loyalty Series (LS) rewards miniatures painted by Tony Birt. He is a fine fellow and really loves The Ion Age. So when we saw his take on the two squires we asked and he gave permission to share the pictures.

While the 28mm Ion Age Range contains over three hundred poses of Retained Knights, Nobles, Muster, Planetary Militia, Portable Weapons along with the Legionaries, Nox, Pioneers, Warlords, Psycoborgs and Malig Goblins of the Shia Khan there are just two miniatures in the LS series which go with this range. LS001 Squire Green and LS004 Squire Beaumont.

Our own take on these two metal miniatures (each comes with a choice of weapons and a separate back pack) is in the white and red of the Prydian Army a different route was taken by Tony. He went for a lovely shade of light blue with dark blue pauldrons. This is the livery of the League of Canlaster one of the two great Marcher Baron factions of the Prydian Civil War which raged until the coming of the Khanate.

Alternative Armies has a Rewards system which operates on the website. If you click on the REWARDS button bottom right of each page of the website it will tell you how to earn and how to redeem with points. In essence sign up for the system (tied to your email you use when placing an order) and earn points. When you have 200 points you can get a free LS series miniature such as one of the Squires. You can also choose for an order discount code or bigger product redemptions.
